Laura, a summa cum laude PhD in Communication Sciences, certified professional journalist, editor, and a distinguished speaker.
Laura’s passion for oenology is evident in her certifications – a merit-earned Sommelier from the North American and World Sommelier Associations, WSET Level 3 in wine tasting, and status as a Vinitaly International Italian Wine Ambassador and certified wine educator.
She specializes in Italian and Spanish wines, judges at international wine competitions including the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and is a respected member of the International Circle of Wine Writers in London and the Los Angeles Wine Writers Association. Currently, Laura directs the Wine Education Program at the Pacific National Food and Beverage Museum in L.A.
