Marcello Moro
Marcello Moro is the operational soul of Altitude Helicopters. Along with his brother Simone, he co-founded Altitude Helicopters Italy in 1994.
What began as a hobby and passion for flying evolved into a part-time occupation an now into a full-time profession. He is a Commercial pilot and flight instructor EASA, FAA, AECI. Originally from Italy he got the chance to develop a wide experience as international entrepreneur in different fields. Together with his brother Simone he buillt an aviation endeavor operating in Italy, USA and Nepal.
In 2013, he founded and oversaw the operations of two flight academies and helicopter companies in San Diego, California, garnering them a prestigious standing within the industry. The establishment of a flight school in the U.S. marked just one chapter in the remarkable journey of the two brothers.
Marcello has years of flying experience in challenging and hostile environmental and weather conditions in countries including the USA, Ghana, Nepal and many more. A decade in the United States has profoundly influenced his approach to customer care, customization, and professionalism, shaping the way he conducts business and inspires the Altitude Helicopters team.

Marcello oversees and maintains the entire Altitude Helicopters fleet, ensuring that each aircraft meets the highest standards of safety and operational readiness.
The Etna and south of Italy from a helicopter
For half of the year, he is stationed at the company’s base in Taormina, positioned to offer breathtaking sightseeing tours directly over the Active volcano Etna and the southern regions of Italy.
